		Luke 9:29-30
	Jesus took Peter, James, and John up a mountain to pray.  As Jesus was praying, the appearance of his face changed.  His clothes shone like a flash of lightening, and he was joined by Moses and Elijah.  The transfiguration was further proof to the three disciples that Jesus was the Christ.
