A boy was possessed by a strong demon. It
caused the boy to be mute, foam at the mouth, and have convulsions.
Jesus disciples could not cast it out, but Jesus could, and did.
Jesus explained that that kind of demon could only be cast out by prayer
(some manuscripts add "and fasting"). |
