he was a man and not a god, and that he was soon going to be
humbled. (The art depicts a demon, but the verse
identifies a man. The verse may be personifying the nation of Tyrus,
rather than speaking to a particular man. In the prophesy books
of the Bible, nations are often portrayed as beasts, so the art is
