God sent prophets to warn Israel that their country would be captured unless they turned back to God with their whole heart.  The people of Israel did not listen, so God let them be captured by the Assyrians and taken captive to various cities in the Assyrian empire.  Following are some of the prophets, prophesies, problems, and places from this era.
