Offensive strategies:

Band Elders (duh).  If blocked by immune (Red Dragon or Emperor Claudius) or decrease cards (Hunger, Ignorance) play Transfiguration to band in Moses to negate everything except all your banding! : )

If Wrath of Satan, Rizpah's Sackcloth, or Deceit of Sapphira are played, interrupt with Words of Encouragement, draw 3 cards, and play a Transfiguration you already had in your hand.  Return the 3 cards you drew, and rejoice that it is once again a by-the-numbers (except for your banding) battle!

Convert opponent's Simon the Magician with Holy Grail if you do not have Phillip the evangelist in play.  (You cannot interrupt a Wrath of Satan used by Simon the Magician against Elders of Jerusalem unless Philip the Evangelist is in play.)

If you plan to use Transfiguration to negate bad stuff, be sure opponent does not have Holy of Holies active.  (I learned that the hard way, thanks to Chris Bany.)

Defensive Strategy:

Use Unholy Writ and Burial Shroud.  These are incredibly useful defensive cards!

Character and enhancement use is straight-forward.
