Acts 16:27 |
|
At about midnight, Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God,
and a violent earthquake shook the prison. The shaking was so
violent that the doors were opened and the chains came loose. When
the Roman jailer ran in and saw this, he was about to take his
life, but Paul stopped him. Through Paul and Silas, the jailer and
his household believed in Jesus and were baptised.
