Peter went to Mark's mother's house, where many of
Christ's followers had gathered. He knocked at the gate, and the
servant girl, Rhoda, answered. Peter told her who he was, and Rhoda
was completely surprised. Because of Rhoda's gladness and
surprise, she forgot to open the gate until she had gone to the others to
tell them the good news. |
