Meanwhile, Peter had followed Jesus and the crowd, and was
waiting outside with the guards. Those sitting around him began to
say that they thought that Peter was one of Jesus' disciples. Peter
repeatedly denied that he even knew Jesus. After his third denial of Christ,
Peter left and wept. |
