The night before Jesus was crucified, Jesus ate a last
supper with his disciples. He took the cup and told his disciples to
drink from it, for it was his blood of the covenant, which is poured out
for many for the forgiveness of sins. The cup Jesus used that night
had traditionally been called the holy grail.
