Joseph was a diligent, responsible slave to an Egyptian named Potiphar.  Potiphar's wife wanted Joseph to go to bed with her, but Joseph refused.  Potiphar's Wife was so angry about it, she lied to her husband, telling him that Joseph had tried to sleep with her.  Potiphar believed her and was very angry.
